NatWest Business Builder has been developed to support businesses and entrepreneurs at all stages. It is a completely free online tool which is entirely self-serve and can be accessed 24-7 through a dedicated online platform.

BACKGROUND

Designed to support early stage entrepreneurs to develop themselves and their businesses at a time and pace that suits them. Users can access a blended programme of support consisting of three key pillars; digital learning, online community and wrap around events.

The scalable digital proposition was developed as part of the banks start-up strategy alongside the flagship Entrepreneurship Accelerator programme to drive brand advocacy and support more businesses to start and grow.

MISSION

Using design thinking to understand early stage business needs and barriers to success, to develop an initial pilot proposition and test proof of concept.

Following a successful pilot, we carried out further user research, analysis of customer interaction and competitor analysis to iterate the 8 week pilot programme into a self serve digital platform across three brands. Working with external partners to develop the user interface and production of a library of digital learning and workshop content, alongside promotional marketing materials.
